Riverlands Bird Sanctuary and Orientation Center
 West Alton, MO

A design-build project for the Corps of Engineers, the Riverlands Bird Sanctuary and Orientation Center consists of a 4,000 square foot facility located in West Alton, Missouri. The facility includes a multipurpose space for exhibits, classroom and office space as well as an observation deck and outlook platform. LEED Silver certified, this project was completed in June, 2011. The Saint Louis Construction Review presented The Clement Group with a Regional Excellence in Construction award for this project in September, 2011.

Sustainability

The Clement Group, LLC, has been awarded multiple projects with the USACE over the past year which require achievement of LEED Silver. We typically utilize the services of a LEED accredited professional from the design team to head up the LEED process on D/B projects, however, our PMs and other personnel are familiar with the requirement for achieving LEED status on Federal projects and are familiar with the (more)
