Safety Is A
Priority
Safety is a serious matter and The Clement Group is seriously committed to ensuring the safety of the men and women working on every one of our job sites. It is a priority to us. Our company has developed a detailed and thorough company safety and health policy that is implemented on all projects. We have also implemented an innovated safety incentive program that further promotes safety awareness and policy adherence among our employees. Additionally, we routinely develop project-specific Accident Prevention Plans according to the requirements of the agency for which we are working. These ensure that our policies and procedures are relevant and specifically address the safety concerns of each project. By making the health and safety of our workers a top priority, we continue to provide an atmosphere where our workers can perform efficiently and to the utmost of their ability.
Project Managers and Supervisors are held accountable for the safety of each of our projects. The Site Supervisors are all given the proper level of OSHA training to enable them to serve as the Safety Manager of the jobsite. They are responsible for the implementation of the overall company safety plan, as well as the site-specific Accident Prevention Plan. The managers are taught to recognize hazards and unsafe working conditions and respond appropriately, and are also given the necessary authority to do so.
Incentive Program
The Clement Group utilizes a safety incentive program known as "Safety Bucks" to reward our workers for making safety a priority on their projects. This program awards coupons known as "safety bucks" to employees with superior safety and attendance on each project where there are no OSHA recordable accidents, tardiness, or loss work days due to injuries. These "safety bucks" can be used to purchase company items such as logo shirts, mugs, caps, car tags, etc. This program has proved highly effective in promoting safety among our workers and has resulted in a continual commitment to safety policy adherence.
